BORGO DI BARIGIANINO
This farm offers peace and tranquillity in the countryside on the outskirts of Siena (12kmss) and south of the city of the famous "Palio" at the foot of the Natural Park of Montagnola Senese. Guests are welcomed by Michela, to these beautiful stone country houses, restored to their original rustic style with added modern interior fittings. The hamlet is composed of six apartments and a suite furnished with Tuscan country furniture, all with dishwasher and washing machine (except for the suite) and wide open spaces outside for guests. A pleasant gazebo and stone barbecue are available for use providing pleasant family evenings or friendly meals. Available for guests a delightful swimming pool (8 x 16 m. - open June/Sept.). Nature lovers can rest in the shade of the oak trees or dive into the clear waters of the River Merse, only a few kilometres from the hamlet.
During their visit guests can taste the famous "Brunello" in Montalcino 45kms, visit Volterra 50kms. The nearest restaurant and grocery store are at Rosia (1km). Florence 75kms, Siena 12kms.
