PODERE DELLA COLLINA
This country estate is situated 300 m above sea level between the provinces of Florence and Pisa, overlooking the typical clay gullies which leave their deep furrows in the mountains.
The two farmhouses have been carefully restored in every detail with delightful results. The larger one is pale pink and the smaller one yellow (La Casina); both face the beautiful swimming pool (8 x 16 m. - open May/Oct.) with a view over the gentle Tuscan hills. The interiors are pleasant and beautifully kept with wrought-iron beds, country furniture, terracotta floors and wooden-beamed ceilings. Antonella, the owner, welcome her guests and is very happy to provide information about the delightful walks to be enjoyed along signposted paths, trips into the Chianti area of Florence and to the pretty villages nearby; Peccioli (6kms), Palaia, Castelfalfi, Montaoine, Gambassi Terme - all in a 20kmss radius.
The farm covers 15 hectares and produces grain, olives and fruit. San Gimignano 25kms, Pisa and Volterra 35kms, Florence 60kms.
