10kms away from Lucca, the farm is easily reached by car (Pisa Airport, 25kms). This farm is also known as Fattoria Badia Pozzeveri and gets its name from the church of S. Pietro a Pozzeveri, a resting place since 952 when pilgrims travelled along the Francigena Road to reach Rome. Today this 160 hectare farm is bordered by beautiful pine-woods and has 20 hectares of vineyards. You'll be accommodated in one of the five very comfortable apartments that have been completely restored, with tv and a direct-dial phone. Guests are welcome to use the swimming pool (12 x 7 m. - open May/Sept.) with a solarium, playground for the children, garden, barbecue, bicycles (rented from the farm), wi-fi area at the reception and tennis table. Local products are sold as well as the farm's wine. Don't forget to try the White and Red Montecarlo D.O.C. wines.
