Here guests can enjoy the hospitality of one of the oldest Tuscan families, owners, since the 16th century, of this large 215 hectare estate only a few minutes from Greve. The structure of this historic farm is typically Tuscan: in the centre a beautiful villa with precious architectural features which is the family residence, and several farmhouses for guests, once the farm workers' homes, scattered around the property. San Pierino farmhouse (apts Canonica and Pozzo), only 2kms from Greve in Chianti, is an old priest's house next to a small 13th century church. It has been restored with the utmost care and now holds several apartments which display a rare and perfect balance between modern comforts. The large apartments are furnished with traditional country Tuscan furniture and have a swimming pool (7 x 15 m. - open June/Sept.). The apartment Prato is 500 m. far from the swimming pool.
This estate, situated on the Chiantigiana road, gives visitors a welcome opportunity to truly appreciate country life, taste some excellent wines (especially Chianti Classico DOCG Reserve, extra virgin olive oil and red wine vinegar), while enjoying the advantages of the nearby town of Greve.
