On their arrival at Olbia visitors who choose the eastern Sardinia route, the road which runs along the island's east coast, will be enthralled by the breathtaking scenery between Orosei and Baunei. The journey involves a climb to an altitude of 1.000 metres through an unspoilt natural environment then downhill towards the coast and the area of Ogliastra.
The farm holiday location is in a valley which stretches from Talana towards the sea, only 6kms away.
Guest accommodation is located in several of the farm's buildings, such as the former 19th century stable, which now holds 2 guest rooms with veranda, one with a small kitchenette (CAM C1 and CAM C2). The other rooms are in the two central buildings, one of which houses the restaurant on the ground floor, with beautiful glass-framed veranda overlooking the valley. Near the pool there is a new building, with 2 Superior Rooms and one Suite. In front of the enormous juniper and granite fireplace of the restaurant guests can savour some traditional Sardinian specialties: "culurgionis", pockets of pasta filled with potatoes and cheese, roast suckling pig, stewed lamb and mutton, accompanied by the excellent wines and, to round off the meal, a glass of "mirto", a typical Sardinian liqueur produced on the farm. Beautiful swimming pool (20 x 10 - open June/Sept.)
Only ten minutes away are the beaches at Ogliastra and Iscrixedda, a semicircle of glistening pink sand in front of the small island of Ogliastra and its sparkling clear waters. A little further is the beach at Cea with its unmistakeable cliffs of red porphyry rock.
The sea 6kms, Lotzorai 5kms, Arbatax 10kms, Olbia 160kms.
