STAZZI DI GALLURA
Only 2kms from the typical white beaches and the crystal clear sea of Sardinia you can stay in one of the "Stazzi", typical constructions of ancient Gallura. Davide and Marina, who live in the nearby town of Badesi (1kms), have restored the buildings using only natural materials (stone, wood, wrought-iron) which render the environment perfectly in harmony with the surrounding vegetation.
Giagumeddu, 1km from Badesi and 3kms from the sea, consists of three typical farmhouses set at the top of a hill with a splendid and unique panorama of the gulf of Asinara, two of which are on two floors and one on the ground floor. Li Scalitti on a hill with a beautiful view, 2kms from the sea and 800 m from Badesi consists of six small ground floor farmhouses each containing 2 apartments. La Pitraia is a group of apartaments situated approximately 500 m below Li Scalitti 1,5kms from the sea. New above ground swimming pool situated in front of Apts Giagumeddu (9 x 4,5 - open May/Oct.) and a tennis court. From 2011 are available 10 new apartments situated in the "Gallura Natural Park" far only 300 metres from the sea with private access to the beach (reachable only on foot).
Badesi offers 12kms of beach and guarantees privacy even during the high tourist season. Its location is perfect for visits to the inland area of the Gallura region (Temple of Pausania only 35kms) and a chance to explore old traditions and folklore.
