CORTE ONIDA
This farm holiday location, a beautifully restored 17th century residence, is set in the Morenic Hills only a few kilometres from Lake Garda (15km) in the National Mincio Park. Guests are accommodated in 8 guest rooms, doubles and triples, and in two one-roomed apartments. All the rooms have wooden-beamed ceilings and are simply furnished with period furniture. The beautiful swimming pool (6 x 12 -open 20thMay/Oct) is in the garden around the house surrounded by vineyards. The farm grows vines, berries, cereal and raises farmyard animals. Emilia, the owner of this family-run estate, uses the farm's own produce to prepare the sumptuous buffet breakfasts and, on request, evening meals with typical local dishes. Her husband, Luigi, also takes good care of guests, organizing trips and excursions (walks, cycling tours and visits to nearby towns)
